Rebranded from Stellar Kitchen & Bath to New Aura Remodeling
Family Building Since 1947
The Buttarazzi family’s legacy in building and remodeling spans more than a century, rooted in craftsmanship, service, and a deep commitment to the Rochester community.
The story begins in 1923, when Enrico Buttarazzi immigrated from Italy to Rochester, New York. A skilled mason by trade, Enrico quickly established a reputation for quality workmanship, helping to shape the growing city one project at a time. His dedication to his craft laid the foundation for a family tradition that would continue for generations.
Enrico’s son, Fiore Buttarazzi, carried that tradition forward. After serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, Fiore returned home with a vision—to build homes and create lasting value for families in his community. In 1947, he partnered with his father to form E. Buttarazzi & Son Builders. Together, they began constructing homes throughout the Rochester area, combining old-world craftsmanship with modern building techniques.
Fiore’s leadership and passion for the industry extended beyond his own company. In 1964, he served as President of the Rochester Home Builders Association, helping to shape the local building community during a time of growth and development.
Fiore raised three sons, continuing the family’s connection to the trade. One of his sons, Mark Buttarazzi, developed an early interest in design and construction. He went on to study Architectural Design at Bauder College. After graduating, Mark joined the family business, which had evolved into Buttarazzi Construction.
Working side by side, Fiore and Mark built over 200 homes throughout the Rochester area, earning a reputation for quality, integrity, and attention to detail. Their work reflected not only their skill but also their commitment to helping families create spaces they could call home.
When Fiore retired, Mark took over leadership of the company, carrying forward the family tradition while also adapting to the changing needs of homeowners. In 2008, recognizing a growing demand for personalized living spaces, Mark shifted the company’s focus to home remodeling. With this transition came a new name—Stellar Kitchen and Bath—reflecting a renewed dedication to transforming existing homes with the same level of craftsmanship that had defined the family for generations.
In 2025, the next chapter began when one of Mark's two sons, Noah Buttarazzi, joined the business after graduating from the University at Buffalo. His arrival marked the beginning of a new era for the family company. With fresh ideas and a shared commitment to quality, Mark and Noah rebranded the business as New Aura Remodeling.
Today, Mark and Noah work side by side, representing the fourth generation of Buttarazzi builders. Together, they continue the family legacy—blending tradition with innovation—to deliver exceptional remodeling services and create spaces that inspire the next generation of homeowners.
